ABSTRACT
The results of mathematical modeling and engineering testing of functional units that implement the Hilbert transform in the processing of amplitude-modulated radio signals corresponding to Ultrasonic Non-destructive Evaluation (NDE) echo signals are presented. The methodology for using the Hilbert transform, specifically Hilbert transformers with integer coefficients, to obtain envelope echo signals is investigated. Mathematical modeling was performed in MATLAB using the SIMULINK library. Engineering testing of the Hilbert filter was performed on an AMD XILINX microprocessor controller with a Zynq Ultrascale + MPSoC FPGA core using the AMD PYNQ software environment.
